Have you ever wondered...
"How can I make friends?"
Everyone wants to have friends, but sometimes they are not so easy to make--or keep. Some days your friends want to be with you but some days they would rather do things with other people. And you wonder, Why don't they want to be with me? Why don't they like me anymore?
Some kids try to buy friends by giving others candy or other gifts all the time. Some kids try to be cool and accepted by doing things that are not right, like drinking alcoholic drinks or trying drugs. These things don't make you cool--and they might just make you dead!
The best way to have a good friend is to BE a good friend. In fact, Proverbs 18:24 in the Bible tells us, "A man that hath friends must show himself friendly...." You can be friendly by being kind and thinking of others first. You can do things with more than one person so there is always someone to talk to when your closest friend is busy.
But the best friend you can ever have is God. He is always there to talk to, He is never asleep and He loves and cares for you. The Bible tells us He cares so much for you that He even knows how many hairs are on your head!

You grade the lessons (guidance provided). You're encouraged to write notes of encouragement, ask for prayer requests and let your Truth Chasers know you're praying for them! Mail your notes, gifts (you can find a large selection at the CEF Hawkeye Chapter office) and the corrected lesson when you send out the next lesson. Postage and other supplies are reimbursed!
