1. Volunteer at Good News Clubs, Events, and More
Your help is needed to share God's love with children, teaching them about Jesus and helping them to learn more about the Bible, from Genesis to Revelations. When you join in volunteering you join in bringing the Good News to children!

2. Support CEF Financially
When you give to CEF Hawkeye Chapter, we use these funds to help train and equip volunteers, buy resources for clubs and classes, financially support the chapter staff, and more. Your donation will help CEF Hawkeye Chapter to reach more children in the name of Jesus!
3. Connect your Church with CEF
What better way to reach out to children in your community than by serving alongside your church family.
Would your church consider letting us equip you to teach the gospel to the children at your local school through Good News Club? Or helping you host a 5-Day Club during the summer for kids in your neighborhood?

4. Be a part of our Prayer Team
Prayer is essential for CEF. Consider praying for CEF throughout your week and joining our prayer team, were you will get prayer emails with updates and prayer requests for our local chapter.
5. Become a CYIAer
Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) is for youth ages 14-18. They are trained to lead a 5 day mini VBS with high-energy games and songs, teach exciting Bible and missions stories, and introduce kids to the one who loves them most – Jesus Christ!
6. Join our Local Board
Use your skills, gifts and abilities in a board/committee leadership role through Child Evangelism Fellowship® that the Gospel may be proclaimed to every child in your area and around the world.
Why should I volunteer with CEF?
The heart of our mission is reflected in our name—Child Evangelism Fellowship. Here in the Hawkeye Chapter, we are passionate about sharing God’s love with children, introducing them to Jesus, and helping them grow in their understanding of the Bible. When you volunteer with CEF, you become part of this mission—helping children discover the truth of the Gospel.
Where can I volunteer?
Good News Club or Party Club: volunteer at a Good News Club or Party Club as a teacher, table leader, coordinator, or snack provider.
5-Day Clubs: host a 5-Day Club in your home or your church and invite kids!
Kid's Blast Trailer Events: share the Gospel with kids and families at occasional community events. As simple as making snow cones, monitoring the Bounce House or chatting with visitors, or show off your face-painting, balloon art or puppetry skills!

How do I start volunteering?
The first step is to fill out the Volunteer Paperwork. This includes a background check and worker's compliance (showing that you agree to the faith statement of CEF and will abide to teaching within their faith statement). Then once we have reviewed your paperwork we will reach out to you.
