What a great night out at Wright Elementary last night for their back-to-school registration night! We had the bounce house bouncing, snow cones snowing, face-painters painting, puppeteers puppeting and balloon artists twisting! A big thanks to all who made this a great success! The night started slow with the preschoolers coming first, but once 5 o'clock hit, so did the rush! Everyone was hard-pressed to keep up. Snow cones ran out first, but not before a ton of lips turned blue or green. The face-painters turned out some amazing designs. And the balloon line stretched across the yard all the way till closing.
We had a number of new volunteers join in on puppets, including Ron Peyton himself! The puppet shows kept rolling through most of the evening, as experienced arms tired out and fresh ones stepped up to give it a go. We even had several kids from the school try it out at the end of the night! Bob and Bobbi Cline hosted a Good News Club signup table with Rachel Bemenderfer assisting. In all, they gave out at least 30 invitations to this fall's Good News Club. In addition, we noted several people scanning the QR code for Wright's club. Please be praying that all these interactions result in spiritually needy and hungry kids joining the club to learn about Jesus and give their lives to Him. That's what this is all about!
