The Fall Good News Clubs focused on the life of Moses and the Israelites’ escape from Egypt. The children learned that God always has a way to save His people. God saved His people from slavery in Egypt just like He saves all who believe in Jesus from eternity without God. From the Mouths of Good News ClubbersQuestion: How do you know you can trust God? The clubbers saw examples of God’s great power when He sent the plagues on Egypt and when He parted the Red Sea. God’s holiness was shrouded on the top of Mt. Sinai as He gave the people the Ten Commandments. The Bible tells us to “be holy for I, the Lord your God, am holy.” And finally, God’s grace was manifested when the kids learned that we cannot keep the Lord’s commandments by ourselves. We need God’s grace to live the way God wants us to live. Grace is God’s amazing kindness to us even though we don’t deserve it.
