Christian Youth In Action: Abigail's Testimony

When I first joined CYIA, I did not realize the impact it would have on my life. I was excited to be sharing the Gospel with kids, and I was looking forward to building relationships with them and leaving an impact on their lives. But I had no idea what a difference it would make!

Now I have been a part of CYIA for four years, and I’ve grown so much! Four years ago, I was scared to talk to anyone I didn’t know, let alone stand in front of twenty kids that I’d never seen before! But now I have confidence to jump up with a smile and share the love of Jesus with kids who have never heard of Him.

I have also built strong relationships with other CYIAers, my brothers and sisters in Christ, and I have been so encouraged by them. I have been able to have meaningful conversations with kids in our community, and even just last week I was able to encourage a girl who is wanting to share the Gospel with her friends at school. I wouldn’t have had a chance to do this without CYIA!

This is what I and the other CYIAers work for; to share the Good News with children, to bring the Gospel to kids who have never heard of Jesus, and to enable them to carry that news to their friends and classmates.

I am amazed at what God is doing through CYIA, and I am so blessed to be a part of it!
