 What a great night out at Wright Elementary last night for their back-to-school registration night! We had the bounce house bouncing, snow cones snowing, face-painters painting, puppeteers puppeting and balloon artists twisting! A big thanks to all who made this a great success!
September 1st thru 8th Summer Camps for 2024 were a wonderful time of sharing the Lord and we had 108 children in attendance this year. Your donations help us keep the fees down. As we enter the planning for 2025, we are designating the first week of September as a special fund drive to refill our funds. You can help us by inviting others to invest in the lives of the children in our communities. Post this at churches, send it out on Facebook, or by other forms of communication, have a Sunday School Collection on the 1st or 8th, or use your imagination on how to promote this program.
 This summer the weather has been great, but it has been a hot one for furthering Jesus’ gospel message! The Hawkeye Chapter has been sharing the gospel and the love of Jesus at different community trailer events and CYIA activities. So far this summer there have been more than 18 events where we estimate that God’s message has been shared with over 2300 children and their families! There are four more events on the schedule in August.
God has been Faithful! This summer interacting with new connections has been a blessing to our Kids Blast teams and CYIA summer youth workers. Hopefully, these new connections will lead to more GNCs and 5 Day Clubs as well as more volunteers. Kid’s ministry matters because it is about making disciples of Jesus! It’s about making sure kids get the same things we all need to grow spiritually. Children need to know the Bible. The fact is that they need to know the truth and they can handle it. If taught in an age-appropriate way they can understand the truths of the Bible. CEF provides material that has since 1939 shared the truths of the Bible with millions of children worldwide. Will you volunteer to share the truth with the children right here in our communities? In a culture that does not protect children we make a difference!
