What Time is It, Mr. Fox?

GOAL:

• Run from the Fox!

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Play:
  • ​Choose one child to be “Mr. Fox”
  • Remaining kids line up on the opposite end of the field
  • Kids ask, “What time is Mr. Fox?”
  • Mr. Fox responds with a time between 1-12 O’clock
  • The kids move that many steps forward
    • Example: If Mr. Fox says "3 O’ clock," children take 3 steps
  • Play continues until Mr. Fox says “Lunchtime” and then begins to chase all the kids back to the starting line. Anyone tagged by the Fox helps the fox next round

VARIATIONS:

• Give the Fox a ball and instead of tagging the players he must try to hit them with the ball!
