Overflow

GOAL:

• Relay race to fill the container!

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Set up:
  • Split the kids into 2 teams and line teams up
  • Fill two buckets with water
  • Place 2 smaller containers with a ping pong ball 15-20 paces away from each line
  • Give the first person in each line a sponge.
  • Line kids up between buckets and small containers
  • Note: Have hose ready to continually fill buckets

• Play:
  • First person fills sponge with water from bucket
  • Pass down the line, last kid runs and dumps the water into container with ping pong ball
  • Last person in line runs to beginning of line, continue until a team’s ball overflows!

• 2 Water Buckets
• 2 Ping Pong Balls
• 2 Sponges
• 2 Smaller containers
