Limbo

GOAL:

• Try to get under the limbo “stick” until it’s too low

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Set up:
  • Two teachers hold a piece of string in the air
  • Children line up

• Play:
  • Children in the line take turns walking under the string
  • Once every child has made it under, lower the string and start again
  • If a child hits the string, they are out
• Win:
  • The person to make it under the lowest without touching wins

VARIATIONS:

• Have two children limbo at the same time
• Team up in groups of two, one child helps the other under / balance

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Jump rope, string or long stick
• Way of playing music
