Collect the Balls

GOAL:
Collect as many balls as you can for your team!

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Set up:
  • Split kids into two teams
  • Choose a representative from each team to climb on top of parachute and stand near the edge of the parachute
  • Place 5 balls in the center of parachute

• Play:
  • Instruct kids on outside of parachute shake parachute gently. The goal is to keep the balls on the parachute so their teammate can collect the balls
  • Say “go!” and have the game begin.
  • Team representatives try to collect balls while parachute is shook
  • When a child collects a ball, have them throw it off. Keep track of how many balls each team collects
• Win:
  • Whichever team collects the most balls wins! (Even if some were knocked off)

VARIATIONS:

• Have one child go on the parachute and try to collect balls while the kids on outside try to knock off balls before he can collect them!
