INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Split kids into 2 teams
- Choose two leaders to represent their team
- Choose a place children must stand behind to throw their sponge

GOAL:

Like Duck, Duck Goose but with a sponge and water

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Sit all kids in a circle
- Place bucket of water with sponge in the middle
- Choose one child to be “it”

GOAL:

Relay race to fill the container!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Split the kids into 2 teams and line teams up
- Fill two buckets with water
- Place 2 smaller containers with a ping pong ball 15-20 paces away from each line
- Give the first person in each line a sponge.
- Line kids up between buckets and small containers
- Note: Have hose ready to continually fill buckets

Stand Up Challenge

GOAL:
Stand up without getting wet!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Split kids into two teams
- Have first child in each team lay down on the grass with a cup of water over the child’s head (holding it with their hands)

Get rid of all the water in the bucket/container

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Set your filled bucket with a sponge in it and choose a specified location about 15 feet away

Fill the bucket with water at the end of the line!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Put the buckets 5-10 feet apart and stand in a line as a team between the buckets.

GOAL:
A relay game with sponges that get kids wet

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Divide the group into teams (10 max per team)
- Give each team a sponge
- Designate an area to run to and back
