Set up:
- Choose one child to be the guard
- Guard stands in the middle of the “statues” (other kids)

GOAL:

Giant Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Explain rules of Rock, Paper, Scissors if children are unfamiliar
- Tell children to find a partner (if they can’t they can wait for one or play a leader)

Poison Dart Frog

GOAL:

Don’t get poisoned by the Frog!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Sit children in a circle
- Choose a “Detective” his job is to find the “Dart Frog”
- Detective closes eyes and ears, walks a few steps away from the group.
- Designate “Dart Frog” His job is to look at people in the circle and stick his tongue out at them (Don’t say the Dart Frog’s name!)
- If children in the circle see the Dart Frog stick his tongue out at them, they must lean over and pretend to be poisoned
- Detective has 3 guesses to guess who the Dart frog is!

What Time is It, Mr. Fox?

GOAL:

Run from the Fox!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Play:
- Choose one child to be “Mr. Fox”
- Remaining kids line up on the opposite end of the field
- Kids ask, “What time is Mr. Fox?”
- Mr. Fox responds with a time between 1-12 O’clock
- The kids move that many steps forward
  - Example: If Mr. Fox says "3 O’ clock," children take 3 steps
- Play continues until Mr. Fox says “Lunchtime” and then begins to chase all the kids back to the starting line. Anyone tagged by the Fox helps the fox next round
