GOAL:

Say the verse according to the emotion!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Choose a volunteer and have them choose an emoji from the bag
- Have them show the emoji to the rest of the kids

Rope Game (Less Than 12 Kids)

GOAL:

Find the knot!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Choose a volunteer
- Have other children grab the rope and make a circle
- Volunteer goes into the middle of circle

Volume Control

GOAL:

Control the Volume

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Choose a volunteer
- Instruct them they can place their hands in 3 places: high, medium, low
- Wherever their hand goes throughout the verse dictates how loud or soft the verse is said

Clap-A-Word

GOAL:

Clap the Word!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Choose a child to turn away from the group and verse visual
- Choose another child to pick a word from the verse

Silly Voices

GOAL:

Disguise the voice!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Choose a child to turn away from group
- Quietly choose a child to disguise their voice!

Popcorn

GOAL:

Popcorn

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Have a child pick a letter!

Hidden Potato

GOAL:

Hide the Potato

INSTRUCTIONS:

Set up:
- Sit kids in circle
- Choose a child to be “it” and stand in the middle of the circle

Parachute Games

Younger Kids Games

Touch the Sky: everyone raises the parachute up as high as they can
Touch the Floor: bring it down to the ground
Waves: all children shake parachute up and down, creating waves
Foot Inside: everyone puts one foot under the canopy
Walk: the group walks in a circle
Underneath: all children run under the parachute when up
Umbrella: all children lift at the same time, float slowly
Dome: all children lift, then pull their handles all the way to the ground and sit down (sitting outside)
Class Picture: all children lift, pull handles down to ground, putting only their heads in the parachute
